The Hotel Housekeeper role ensures guests enjoy a spotless, comfortable environment. You’ll clean guest rooms and public areas, change bed linens, restock amenities, and address guest requests, all while adhering to hotel hygiene standards and safety protocols. A keen eye for detail and strong stamina are essential for delivering consistent hospitality excellence.  

Health and Safety

Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces.
  • Change bed linens and towels, restock toiletries and in‑room supplies to hotel standards.
  • Remove trash and used items, ensure proper disposal and report lost‑and‑found items.
  • Inspect and report maintenance issues such as faulty appliances, damaged furnishings, or safety hazards.

Must Have

  • At least 1 year of housekeeping experience in a hotel, resort, or hospitality setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and physical stamina for lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Good communication skills in English (and ideally French or Creole) to interact with guests and colleagues.
  • Highly creative and autonomous
  • Valid work permit for Belgium
