HVAC Technician for Kosovo

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team in Kosovo. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. This role requires strong technical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, and test HVAC systems including air conditioners, heaters, ventilation systems, and refrigeration units.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficiency and prevent breakdowns.
• Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
• Ensure systems are installed and functioning according to design specifications and applicable codes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and manufacturer’s instructions.
• Maintain records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and contractors on site.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an HVAC technician or in a similar role.
• Vocational training or certification in HVAC systems (EPA, F-Gas, or equivalent preferred).
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work from technical drawings and manuals.
• Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying weather conditions.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license is a plus.
• Fluency in English is preferred; knowledge of local languages is an asset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working on international projects or in post-conflict/reconstruction settings.
• Familiarity with energy-efficient and eco-friendly HVAC solutions.
• Experience in commercial or industrial HVAC systems.
